If you are wondering when is the right time to start visiting the dentist with your child, the Canadian Dental Association recommends regular dental visits start 6 months after your child’s first tooth appears, which is usually about age 1. The first dental visit is a good time to discuss things like fluoride, frequency of dental visits, diet, tooth brushing, soothers and flossing and follow up appointments can re-visit these items.
