Registered Dental Hygienist
Born and raised in Vancouver BC, Kim always had an immense desire to work within the healthcare field.
Kim was directly accepted into the UBC Entry-to-Practice Dental Hygiene Program straight from high school and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelors of Dental Science. Since graduation, she has worked as a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) for a maternity leave position in Kerrisdale before working at Kits Family Dental in January 2015. Aside from working in private practice, Kim has been involved in taking continuing education courses to ensure excellence in her practice and to remain updated on the latest research available.
Her practice philosophy entails being the best dental hygienist she can be in order to help her patients achieve a positive experience. She has always been very thoughtful of others in hopes of enabling and empowering them to achieve their own goals. Kim finds that the best part about being a dental hygienist is being able to build rapport with her patients and guiding them on their journey to a healthy smile.
Apart from working at the dental office, Kim has been playing competitive indoor/beach volleyball since she was 12 years old. She also enjoys hiking the beautiful BC mountains, traveling, running and spending time with her family. Kim’s friendly, caring and energetic personality will ensure you have a comfortable experience at the dental office!
