Here is an breakdown of the approximate dental cleaning cost in Vancouver for adults and children. Please note that it varies per person and will depend on factors such as how much cleaning is needed and how many x-rays are required.

Dental Cleaning Cost for Adults in Vancouver

The dental cleaning cost in Vancouver for adults can range from about $375 – $485.

Includes the following:

  • Complete exam for new patients
  • Set of 8-14 x-rays (average number of films often taken for those without recent x-rays)
  • Up to 1hr of cleaning
  • Polish & fluoride

Note that we can request x-rays from a previous dentist if they were taken within a year.

Dental Cleaning Cost for Children in Vancouver

The dental cleaning cost in Vancouver for children can range from about $180 – $285 for the initial visit.

Includes the following:

  • (first exam is complimentary for children under 3 years old)
  • Exam for new patients with baby teeth only
  • Exam for new patients with both baby and adult teeth
  • Set of 2-4 x-ray films
  • Up to half an hour of cleaning
  • Polish & fluoride

Follow Up Exam For Children or Adults

*Patients should keep in mind that with continuous and regular cleanings that follow after the first appointment, the cost of the exam (just the exam portion) is reduced to $29.50 per visit, and x-rays will only need to be taken when due for a renewal or when necessary to further examine a specific area.
